The Munchkin is noted for its short legs that give it a rather unique appearance compared to other breeds of cats. In technical terms, munchkin cats can be found in many different breeds as the genetic mutation is fairly widespread, but rare.
Munchkin cats are quite playful and have a mild temperament that makes them well suited for families. They can have short or long fur and there have been three different lengths of legs that they possess, short, super short and rug runner.
